General Standards Zoning Bylaw Amendment - Notice of Public Meeting
The Village of Burk’s Falls Committee of Adjustment will hold an electronic public meeting on Monday, April 26th 2021. The purpose of the meeting is to consider an application for zoning amendment that has been submitted pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 Ch P.13 and was considered complete on April 7, 2021.

Property: 138 Main Street, Burk’s Falls
Amendment: to create a triplex
File No: ZBA-2021-01
Meeting Date April 26, 2021 at 6:30 pm via Zoom
Purpose and Effect of the Application: to permit the property to be zoned to allow for a triplex; three rental units.
Existing Zoning Provisions: Bylaw 12-01 to regulate development standards currently permits residential dwellings up to including duplex or semi detached building on one property. The purpose of this amendment will allow for a third separate rental unit.
Any person may attend the public hearing and/or make written comments to the Committee of Adjustment either in support of, or in opposition to the proposed amendment. Information regarding this application will be available for public inspection until noon on the day of the hearing at the Village of Burk’s Falls municipal office.

Notice of Decision: a copy of the committee’s decision will be sent to the applicant and to each person who registered at the public hearing and who has filed a written request for notice of the decision with the Secretary-Treasurer.
