The Village of Burk’s Falls Municipally Elected Council is comprised of five members, these include a Reeve, Deputy Reeve and three Councillors. Each Council member is responsible for a specific department within the municipal organization, such as roads/buildings, water/waste water, planning and health care.

Village Council meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month in Council Chambers, located at 172 Ontario street. Meetings of Council are open to the public, those looking to address Council on a specific topic are asked to contact the Municipal Clerk-Administrator contact link no later than the Thursday prior to the regularly scheduled meeting.


The next regular meeting for Council will be held on November 20th, 2018 at 6:00pm.  There will be no meeting of Council on November 27th, 2018

The inaugural meeting of the 2018 elected members of Council will be held on December 4th, 2018 at 6:00pm.

The regular meeting of Council scheduled for December 25th, 2018 has been rescheduled for December  17th, 2018, at 6:00pm.
