The Village of Burk's Falls Recreation Coordinator along with the Recreation Committee strive to provide programs that will engage youth, adults and mature adults in a variety of non-competitive actives, that encourage a healthy and active lifestyle. Programs are offered throughout the year taking advantage of the Recreation Fields and our Community Arena which can facilitate a variety of recreation programs.

Try it Saturday
Have you ever been interested in a program, sport or activity but haven't wanted to fully commit without trying first, well Try it Saturdays is for you. The Recreation Coordinator has arranged a variety of activities which take place on Saturdays, providing the opportunity for youth and adults to try out a program before committing to team or series of workshops.

New to the Village is our Monday night badminton at the Armour, Ryerson and Burk's Falls Memorial Arena, in the Karl Crozier room. This 8 week session is set to run from February 11th to April 1st from 5:00pm to 7:00pm depending on your age. Bring a racquet as supplies are limited, goggles are strongly recommended and indoor running shoes is a requirement. Register today through the Village, forms can be downloaded and returned to the office or emailed here.
Starting on February 6th, 2019 running until April 3rd, 2019 at the Karl Crozier Community Room Indoor Soccer for youth. Registration and information is available through the downloadable documents below. Contact the Village of Burk's Falls Recreation Coordinator for more information.
Other Programs facilitated through the Recreation Committee include;
- T-ball ages 4 – 7 years (summer 2019)
- Baseball ages 8 - 12 (summer 2019)
- Soccer ages 4 - 12 (summer 2019)
- 3 on 3 hockey elementary school age (March Break 2019)
- Indoor pond hockey elementary school age (March Break 2019)
In addition to the youth programs the Village supports several local organizations and groups who host additional programs throughout the year for both youth and adults, these include;
- “Old Timers” hockey
- Snow pitch with the Agricultural Society
- Special Olympics Baseball
- Weekly Euchre with Young at Heart Senior Centre
- Burk’s Falls Skating Club (Canskate)
