Recreation Fields

The Village of Burk’s Falls supports active and engaged healthy living though the promotion of recreation programs for all ages. Our large, spacious recreation fields are an essential component to the programs and services offered through the Villages Recreation Committee.

The recreation fields are located on the east side of the Armour, Ryerson and Burk’s Falls Memorial Arena and consist of two baseball diamonds, one soccer field and a skateboard park. Our recreation fields are surrounded by natural woodlands which encompasses our Heritage River Walk trail system. Additionally, a large cleared area offers over night camping for events, with Council permission.

During the summer months public washrooms and access to water make the area an idea location to host sporting events, large festivals such as the Fall Fair, Burk’s Falls Country Jamboree and many private functions, as the fields are available for rent.

Located beside the large recreational fields, is a sand race track, maintained by the Village during summer months. This track is often used during the Fall Fair for heavy horse pulls, school track and field meets and is even a great walking track as the footing is soft and level.

Baseball Fields (7:00pm – 12 midnight) $20.00/hour
Baseball Fields (7:00am – 6:30pm) $15.00/hour
Baseball Fields (more than 4 hours) $50.00 per day
Baseball Fields (Friday 6:00pm – Sunday 6:00pm) $350.00 per event
Park or Green Space $15.00/hour or $50.00/day
