The Village of Burk’s Falls Municipally Elected Council is comprised of five members, these include a Mayor, Deputy Mayor and three Councillors. Each Council member is responsible for a specific department within the municipal organization, such as roads/buildings, water/waste water, planning and health care.
Village Council meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month in Council Chambers, located at 172 Ontario street, beginning at 6:00pm. Meetings of Council are open to the public, those looking to address Council are asked to contact the Clerk-Administrator by email or 705-382-3138 ext 226 no later than the Thursday prior to the regularly scheduled meeting.
Agendas are posted the Friday prior to the regular meeting no later than 4:00pm on the municipal website under agendas and minutes and on the municipal office door at 172 Ontario Street. Historical Council meeting minutes are post one month after such meeting, minutes are adopted during the next regular meeting of Council.
