Soccer & Baseball
Registration
Forms are available at the Village of Burk's Falls Municipal
Office during normal office hours for children ages 4 and up.
Registration is $ 10.00 per child before May 30, 2008 and $
15.00 per child after June 1, 2008. Soccer will begin Thursday
June 19, 2008 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm and Baseball will be Tuesday
June 17, 2008 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. These programs will only be
offered if there are enough volunteers to help. For more
information, please contact the Village office. |

Recreation Program
Summer Recreation
Playground Program at the Arena begins on July , 2008 from 8:30
to 5:00. Fees are: 1st child - $ 300.00,
2nd child - $500.00,
3rd child - $700.00 and $100.00 for each additional child -
these are for the summer rates, daily rates are $ 15.00 per day
per child. |
Doe Lake Girl Guide
Camp Red
Cross swimming lessons through
the Doe Lake Girl Guide Camp. Participants MUST register with
Doe Lake Girl Guide camp for swimming lessons. Bussing is
provided from the Arena and is free of charge. If you are not
registered with the Summer Rec Program, your child may still
take the bus, BUT parents are required to supervise their own
children on the bus.

Mary Street, New members welcome.
Museum will be hosting Saturday evening
Music & Entertainment Nights beginning August 5 and each
Saturday night until September. Bring your own lawn chair and
enjoy an evening of entertainment & campfire.

Canada Day - July 1 ,
2008
Canada Day will be at the Arena with an ecumenical church
service beginning at 10 am, dignitaries/speakers at 12 noon,
public skating and a skating show by the Burk's Falls & District
Figure Skating Club, hot dogs, cake balloons and displays by
various service groups. Fireworks will be held at dusk at the
Fairgrounds. |
