Date: June 28, 2005 Dear Homeowner: re: Dog/Cat Tags This is a reminder to those of you who have not already purchased the current Dog/Cat Tags. Under Section 3 of the Village of Burk's Falls Dog By-Law and Section 4 of the Village of Burk's Falls Cat By-Law, all owners are required to purchase current tags. Purchasing current tags enables our By-Law Enforcement Officer to identify your Dog/Cat, should it stray from your property and avoids unnecessary pound charges and fines that will be charged if the Dog/Cat is taken to the Almaguin Animal Shelter. We trust you will come in to the Village office to purchase a current Dog/Cat Tag within the next 15 days. Failure to do so could result in a maximum fine of $105.00. R.B. (Brian) Darnbrough |
