MUNICIPAL CLASS ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
YONGE STREET BRIDGE
NOTICE OF STUDY COMMENCEMENT
The Village of Burk’s Falls is planning for the
rehabilitation or possible replacement of the Yonge Bridge located in
the Village on Yonge Street, 1.0 km East of Ontario Street. The bridge
is located over the South Branch of the Magnetawan River.
The project is being planned as a Schedule B undertaking following the
requirements of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process.

Public input and comments are invited for incorporation into the
planning and design of this project. Subject to comments received and
the receipt of necessary approvals, the Village of Burk’s Falls intends
to proceed with the planning and design of this project, to be completed
in 2012.
