In the event of situations which effect essential services and may be of considerable

inconvenience or discomfort to the residents of Armour, Ryerson or Burk’s Falls the

Armour, Ryerson, Burk’s Falls Memorial Arena may be opened as a comfort station.

While the facility is open as a warming station, regular operation of the facility may

continue. If the canteen is open, items may be purchased by anyone using the facility.

The use of this facility as a Comfort Station is not intended to replace or discourage

families from being prepared for 72 hours in the event of an emergency.
