NOTICE OF PROPOSED ROAD CLOSING


TAKE NOTICE that the Corporation of the Village of Burk’s Falls (the “Village”) intends to pass a by-law to close a certain street in the Village of Burk’s Falls in the District of Parry Sound, more particularly described in Schedule “A” hereto (the “Lands”).

THE PURPOSE and effect of the proposed by-law is to stop up and close a certain road in the Village of Burk’s Falls.

A MAP showing the location of the street is available for viewing at the Village of Burk’s Falls Municipal Office at 172 Ontario Street, Burk’s Falls, Ontario during normal business hours.

ANY PERSON wishing to comment on the proposed closing may attend a
“PUBLIC MEETING”
to be held at the
ARMOUR RYERSON & BURK”S FALLS
MEMORIAL ARENA/COMMUNITY CENTRE
ON WEDNESDAY MARCH 26, 2008 AT 7:00 PM

Submit your comments in writing by 4:00 p.m. on March 26, 2008 to: The Clerk of the Village of Burk’s Falls, Box 160, Burk’s Falls, Ontario. P0A 1C0.

THE COUNCIL of the Village will give consideration to all submissions received and will then determine whether or not to proceed with the passing of the said by-law.

THE SAID by-law will come before Council for consideration at the council meeting to be held at 7:30 p.m. on April 22, 2008.

Within the Village of Burk’s Falls
